An example of a brand everyone is talking about
Tiny coffee shop by my house, two tables total, and it's up on a billboard right next to a Coca-Cola ad. Next to COKE, man, Carl!! Where do they even get that kind of money?? Asked the owner. Turns out there's this outfit called wide loop, they did the billboard for pennies. Now I'm sitting here wondering why I didn't put my own business up there too.
Guys, I think I'm an idiot. I run a design studio, three people, and I spent a WHOLE YEAR pouring budget into TikTok like down a drain. Then I randomly put up a billboard through some outfit called wide loop, paid pennies, and got more brand awareness in a week than from six months of paid ads. I'm floored. Am I the only one who messed up like this or did you too? Tell me where else I should've looked — I was stubbornly stuck on paid ads like a fool 😩
Million-dollar question, help me decide. Would you put your ad on a giant city screen if it cost about as much as two dinners out? Honestly, yes or no?? I already put one up for my bakery «Tyoply Ugol» through wide loop and I'm still shocked at the price. But now I'm second-guessing it, maybe it was pointless, maybe it doesn't even work. Anyone tried outdoor ads, how were the results? Share please, I really need it 🙏
everyone's talking about

I honestly thought billboards were only for Cartier and Coke, not for my tiny ceramics studio Glina Galiny. Who else lives like this, fess up!! Turns out it's complete nonsense. Put one up through wide loop for laughable money. Almost crying that I figured this out so late. Guys, what else from the «expensive and fancy» bucket is actually affordable for a small business? Drop them, I want more hacks like this 👀
Okay, I'm in shock and I need to vent. I have a three-person studio, we make Ajour Premium furniture. And I have. A BILLBOARD. Downtown on Mangilik El!! You hear me? Drove past it with my girlfriends and we screamed in the car for like five minutes 😂 Everyone asks how much, answering you all at once: less than my monthly ad spend, did it through wide loop. Still can't believe it. Guys, where do you run your ads? Throw me some ideas, I'm clearly just waking up 😅
Got so distracted by a billboard I literally missed my turn, doh 😅 On the screen was an ad for the Boroda4 barbershop — the one I actually go to! I'm thinking, where do these guys get that kind of money. They say there's this outfit called wide loop, came out cheaper than a month of Instagram ads. Now I can't rest, I want my business up there too. Guys, anyone who knows billboard ads, what are the pitfalls? Worth getting into or not?

Option A
The one you saw in an ad.
A slot the brand had to buy. Skipped, blocked, forgotten in seconds. Nobody trusts an interruption.
aizhan.kz Spent 10 years terrified of dentists, shaking. Dr. Alikhan at Ardent is the first one whose chair I didn't squeeze my eyes shut in. Save this if you're scared out of your mind too. He's the dentist you're actually not afraid of 🙏
madina.a One clinic quoted me for my teeth like it was the wing of an airplane. Went for a second opinion to Dr. Alikhan at Ardent, and turns out half of it was being pushed on me for nothing. Ladies, save this. Better to see him than to overpay
yerlan.dos Put off a tooth until my cheek blew up. Ended up with Dr. Alikhan at Ardent, and for the first time no «wow you really let this go», he just calmly did everything. Guys, save the contact. A solid doctor, no stress, no upselling.
Option B
The one everyone keeps recommending on Threads.
